1. The new Florida Name Change is in development. Currently, the new system can only generate documents to petition the Court for an Adult Name Change in Alachua County and Orange County.
2. If you need to change your name in a different county or if you need to change your name or gender on your Social Security card, driver's license, passport, or birth certificate, use the existing Florida Name Change platform.
3. You do not need to be the person who is changing their name or gender to create an account. You can create an account and then create name and gender change documents for other people.
4. In order to log in to your Florida Name Change account, you will need access to the email account that you use for registration.
